women do not play the tuba

why? well, the tuba is huge, sure, but that really isnt the reason you dont see so many women playing that particular instrument.  The reason lies in the amount of air required to play…BUT, there are more and more women moving into that field in conservatories…so the doors are being opened, we shall see…
